Armiger

A block editor for campaign writing

A block based editor for lore, session notes, NPCs, and anything else you can imagine, all living inside your library instead of scattered across apps.

A slash menu for every block

Type “/” on any empty line for a filterable, keyboard-driven menu of every block, searchable by name or alias.

Headings, lists, quotes, and images

Three heading levels, paragraphs, bullet and numbered lists, quotes, and images.

Callouts for read-aloud text

Callout blocks put a gold-edged box around the text you’ll perform, just like the boxed text in a published module. They take custom colors and can hold any rich content.

Full table editing

Drop in a table and edit it like a spreadsheet. Tab and Enter walk the cells, hover affordances add rows and columns, and column widths drag to fit.

Rollable loot tables

Embed a live loot table with roll ranges, rarity colors, and quantities. Hit Roll and watch it highlight and scroll to the result, right in the document.

Link to characters, encounters, and docs

Type “[[” to link a character, encounter, GM screen, or another document. Links render as chips that show the target’s live name, and they flag themselves as unavailable if the target is ever archived.

The small things, already handled

Markdown shortcuts

Pound signs make headings, dashes make lists, asterisks bold and italicize, and “[text](url)” makes a link. The shortcuts your fingers already type just work.

A floating formatting toolbar

Select text and a floating toolbar offers bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, inline code, and links, each with its keyboard shortcut on the tooltip. Links get a hover card with edit and unlink. Nine text and nine background colors apply to a selection or a whole block.

Images from anywhere

Pick from your asset library, paste from the clipboard, or drag a file straight into the page. Uploads run in the background while you keep writing. Then drag to resize, align left through full-width, and add captions and alt text.

Side-by-side layouts

Two, three, or four columns with draggable dividers between them. Put the NPC portrait beside the secrets, or the map beside the key.
